| Babu, a 6 year old handicapped boy had heart
surgery, on Saturday March 5th 2011 at Medicity in Gurgaon.
Dr.Bhans performed the surgery. Only half Babu's heart was
functioning, due to heart defect since birth. Koel Puri, who has
a show on Headlines Today,'On the Couch with Koel' did a story
on Babu which raised Rs.40000/-. Ila Trust with the help of
Suhel Seth raised another Rs.40, 000/-. The rest of the cost was
written off by Dr. Naresh Trehan of Medicity. Babu is happy and
well, and so is his mother and we at Ila Trust look forward to
getting him into a good school in the very near future. |
